JAN 1 – THE WORD IN THE BEGINNING

“In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.  He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being)”

John 1:1-3 (AMP)

The above scripture gives insight into the pre-existence of the Word of God, in the person of Jesus Christ. By Him, all things were created. He was “the voice of the Lord God” that Adam and Eve heard walking in the garden (Genesis 3:8). The whole world was created by the Word of God. The Word of God created everything that you see. God in dealing with man has chosen to be bound by His Word (Psalm 138:2(b), KJV).

The believer is born of the Word and it is only by the Word we are sustained. The life of the believer is programed in the Word of God. The revelation knowledge of the Word of God is required to live the God kind of life, as God has planned it before the foundations of the world.  With this understanding, you realize that without the knowledge of the Word of God, you will be walking in life like a blind man, not knowing where you are going.

Ephesians 4:11-12 says, So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up” (NIV). The five-fold ministers are to equip the body of Christ. The Word of God is the compass that gives you direction by which you navigate this life (Psalm 119:105).

I also receive grace to act on the instructions of your Word to produce your results. I thank you that my faith is increasing by hearing the word. And I am living the kingdom life, which is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus.
