FEB 26 – THE GLORY OF GOD

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”

Colossians 1:27 (KJV).

The Glory is Christ in you; the day you got born again, Christ took residence in you and became your sufficiency. When God gave us His glory, He gave us Himself in His fullness—that is, His goodness, His name, mercy, compassion, grace, long suffering, love, faithfulness, and forgiveness (Exodus 33:18-19,  Exodus 34:5-7). So the glory is the totality of the character and nature of Christ; His life, power, wisdom, majesty, glory, and grace are in you. Christ in you is your assurance of divine health, prosperity, success, victory, and dominion. Your role is to discover the Christ in you through the study and meditation on the Word of God, being taught by the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Word made flesh: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” John 1:14 (KJV).

You house the glory of God, which means you are a God-carrying vessel, so your presence in a place means the glory of God has manifested in that place. “Christ” means “the anointed one”, so “Christ in you” is the anointing in you, which is “the hope of glory”. The Holy Spirit brings Christ’s presence and makes His anointing known and available to you every day. The Spirit of the Lord wants you to go forth and manifest or display the glory of God (the Christ in you) in every place. Be the light and the salt in your world. Live His Word, preach His Word and God will confirm His Word through you to heal the sick and raise the dead. He lives in you in every fiber of your being, in every cell of your blood, and in every bone of your body. You have been glorified; walk in this consciousness every day, and bring others to the knowledge of this light. You are not ordinary. God is at work in you both to will and to do His good pleasure.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the totality of the character and nature of Christ that is manifested in me. I walk in this consciousness and display your glory in every place, in Jesus’ name.

WISDOM NUGGET “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee” Isaiah 60:1-2.
