THE NEW CREATION
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
The new creation has believed in the Lord Jesus with his or her heart and confessed Him with his or her mouth, and by choice, made the Lord Jesus his or her Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10). This process is called being born again and this is a spiritual birth.
The Bible says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” John 1:12 (KJV). Since you received Him, you are now a son of God. Your human life from your parents is dead. You are now a new creation, and you have the life of God. You are redeemed, justified, sanctified, made righteous, and declared not guilty.
You are now a member of the family of Christ and a citizen of heaven. Ephesians 2:19 says, “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God. (KJV). You have also come into an inheritance with God’s children. You are now enabled to walk by your spirit, pleasing God. Glory to God.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for reconciling me to you and for giving me the ministry of reconciliation to bring others to you. I take grace to live this divine life gloriously with the help of the Holy Spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus.
